Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy A57 5G, a mid-range smartphone, has been spotted on China’s 3C certification website, revealing details about its charging speed. The mid-range phone could charge faster than the upcoming Galaxy S26 flagships, according to the listing.
The Galaxy A57 5G (SM-A5760) supports 45W fast charging according to the 3C listing. In the listing, wired charging is supported at 10V/4.5A and 15V/3A.
This decision is likely to disappoint prospective Galaxy S26 customers. Despite its lower price, the Galaxy A57 5G will offer faster charging speeds than the flagship phones. The Galaxy S26 and S26+ will offer better chipsets, cameras, build quality, displays, and other features, but Samsung should’ve also improved charging speeds.
