OnePlus confirmed a few weeks ago that it would launch the world’s first Snapdragon 8 Gen 5-powered smartphone. The rumour mill has speculated on the device’s name – initially, it was tentatively called the OnePlus Turbo. An image of the retail box later suggested the name OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. There is, however, no device called OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max, according to OnePlus’ official fan club. It will be called the OnePlus Ace 6T instead.

The OnePlus Ace 6T will inherit the DNA of the classic OnePlus 6T, according to tipster Digital Chat Station. Along with a stunning Electric Purple finish, a Snapdragon 8-series flagship chipset, ultra-smooth performance, and fast fingerprint unlocking, it also includes a memorable collaboration edition and a high refresh rate display. With the Ace 6T, users can expect a similar set of features.

OnePlus will collaborate with Genshin Impact on a special-edition Ace 6T, according to another tipster. Furthermore, the source confirms that the device’s storage options are 256GB / 512GB / 1TB UFS 4.1, and the Ultra RAM is 12GB / 16GB LPDDR5X. Besides Electric Purple, the phone will also be available in Flash Black and Shadow Green.
