The Galaxy S26 has been the subject of numerous leaks over the past week, but the rumours are far from over. The release date of Samsung’s upcoming flagship series has now been alluded to in a new report.

A Korean site claims that Samsung intends to postpone its upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event for the S26 series by approximately one month, to February 25.

According to reports, the San Francisco display is “AI-focused.” “Samsung is preparing its first San Francisco Unpacked in three years, since the S23 launch in 2023,” a source familiar with Samsung’s plans told the outlet. “San Francisco has emerged as the hub of AI technology, so it’s the perfect location for Samsung—the pioneer of the AI smartphone era—to hold its event,” the source added.

Samsung’s recent changes to its lineup strategy may be the cause of the delay. The Galaxy S26 Plus was supposed to be replaced by the Galaxy S25 Edge, but Samsung has reportedly chosen to reinstate the Plus model due to the Edge’s poor sales.

This implies that the Galaxy S26, S26 Plus, and S26 Ultra will be the three models we’re looking at once more.
