Samsung is rumoured to launch its Galaxy S series phones in March 2026, rather than its usual January launch window. Adding weight to the rumour is a report from Korea stating that Samsung has delayed mass production of the Galaxy S26 phones.
According to the report, Samsung will begin mass production of the Galaxy S26 Ultra in December. In January, mass production of the Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26+ will begin.
Originally, Samsung planned to begin production of all three Galaxy S26 models in December. Due to the cancellation of the Galaxy S26 Edge variant, the schedule has been delayed.
It will take an additional month or two for the company to develop the Galaxy S26+. The Galaxy S26 and Galaxy S26 Ultra have reportedly been completed.
Consequently, the Galaxy S26 Ultra will be the first to enter mass production, followed by the Galaxy S26, and finally the Galaxy S26+. It is therefore expected that the launch date will be pushed back due to the production delay.
