OnePlus has now clarified yesterday’s confusion. On October 27, the OnePlus 15 and the OnePlus Ace 6 will be officially launched in China.
With weeks of teasers, we know quite a bit about the OnePlus 15, but the Ace 6 has mostly remained a mystery. Today, OnePlus unveiled its official design, giving us our first look at its upcoming handset.
There’s a lot of similarity between the Ace 6’s camera module and the OnePlus 15’s, but it’s likely just the main and ultrawide lenses onboard.
In the image, the silver variant shows a striped finish with a large “ACE” logo on the back. At launch, the phone is expected to come in a broader range of color options.
It reportedly features a 1.5K OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, as well as an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor embedded in the display.
An enormous 7,800mAh battery with 120W fast charging will power the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset. Additionally, it will have an IP68-rated metal frame and toughened glass protection.
On the other hand, the more premium OnePlus 15 will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, with a 165Hz 1.5K OLED screen and a 7,000mAh battery that supports 100W and 50W wireless charging.
The OnePlus 15 will also be available in Sand Dune, Absolute Black, and a soft Mist Purple colour. The camera’s triple-camera setup is expected to include a 50MP Sony LYT-700 main sensor, a 50MP Samsung JN5 periscope telephoto sensor, and another 50MP ultrawide sensor.
