Xiaomi unveiled the Xiaomi 15T and Xiaomi 15T Pro flagship phones last month. Every year, the company updates its flagship T-series around August or September. The launch of the next-generation models may only be six months away, according to a new development.
The Xiaomi 17T series has been spotted in the IMEI database by XiaomiTime. Accordingly, Xiaomi will not brand the Xiaomi 16T, just as it did not brand the Xiaomi 16 series for China this year.

According to the IMEI database listing, the Xiaomi 17T’s global version has the model number 2602DPT53G, while its Indian edition has the model number 2602DPT53I. Following the debut of Xiaomi’s 11T series in India in 2021, the brand may reintroduce the T-series flagship to the country.
The global edition of the Xiaomi 17T Pro is also listed in the IMEI database, with model numbers 2602EPTC0G and 2602EPTC0R. There is no Indian version of this one.
According to the “2602” numbers in the models mentioned above, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Xiaomi 17T series globally in February 2026. Xiaomi 17T and 17T Pro may be powered by Dimensity 8500 (upcoming) and Dimensity 9500 chipsets, respectively. Additionally, these devices will be among the first global Xiaomi devices to run HyperOS 3.
