On its Reno Pro models, Oppo has consistently offered new Dimensity 8000-series. As for the Reno 14 Pro, it features the Dimensity 8450 SoC as opposed to the Dimensity 8350 chip on the Reno 13 Pro. According to tipster Smart Pikachu, the Reno 15 Pro could also feature a Dimensity 8000-series SoC.

According to the tipster, some phone manufacturers are designing “all-rounder” phones that use the upcoming Dimensity 8500, while others are designing camera-centric models with 200-megapixel sensors and even periscope lenses in engineering prototypes. Furthermore, some brands are developing devices with extremely long battery life, offering capacities of 10,000mAh or more.

According to the tipster, the Oppo Reno 15 series will feature a D8500-powered device, as seen above. The Reno 15 Pro / Pro+ model will likely be equipped with the D8500. It is rumoured that the Reno 15 series will debut in China in November. The Reno 15 Pro / Pro+ could be the first phone to feature the said chipset.
