The same Chinese source that leaked Poco F8 Ultra camera details also revealed what to expect from the OnePlus 15 and Realme GT 8 Pro cameras. This month, both of these are expected to launch in China.
The OnePlus 15’s main camera will utilise a 1/1.5″ Sony Lytia LYT-700 sensor, while its periscope telephoto camera will employ a 1/2.76″ Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensor. Samsung ISOCELL JN5 sensors may be used in the OnePlus 15’s ultrawide camera.

According to this, the OnePlus 15 will feature a slightly smaller primary camera sensor than its predecessor’s 1/1.43″, as well as a smaller periscope telephoto camera sensor than the OnePlus 13’s 1/1.95″. There are rumours that the OnePlus 15 will feature a “1.5K” resolution, which is lower than its predecessor’s QHD+.
As for the Realme GT 8 Pro, it is expected to feature the same primary camera as the OnePlus 15, utilising a 1/1.5″ type Sony Lytia LYT-700 sensor. The periscope telephoto camera is also likely to have a 200 MP resolution, paired with a 1/1.56″ type Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor.
Therefore, the Realme GT 8 Pro will have a much better zoom camera than the GT 7 Pro, and arguably a better one than the OnePlus 15, which is odd considering Realme hasn’t had a very camera-focused lineup to date.
