The Xiaomi 17 series is set to be officially launched in India soon, as confirmed by the brand. Earlier this month, the company unveiled its latest flagship in China, and it will be rolled out to the rest of the world shortly.
During the ongoing Snapdragon Summit, Xiaomi India’s CMO showcased the standard Xiaomi 17 model. The event was to announce Qualcomm’s latest and greatest, Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, which also powers the Xiaomi 17 series. Xiaomi is still planning to launch premium smartphones in the region, although details about the lineup remain under wraps.
The availability of models in India remains unclear. The Chinese tech giant previously released the Xiaomi 15, alongside the global debut of the Xiaomi 15 Ultra, months after its original launch. The brand will likely follow the same pattern this time around as well. In other words, we don’t know if the Xiaomi 17 Pro and Xiaomi 17 Pro Max will also be heading to India. Xiaomi may launch the Xiaomi 17 Ultra in India, along with the standard model that was just announced.
