A hands-on video showcasing the iQOO 15’s colour-changing model was just released. iQOO is expected to unveil the iQOO 15 in the coming weeks. Although iQOO has not yet disclosed the iQOO 15’s release date, it provided us with our first official glimpse of the colour-changing model earlier today.

Similar to last year’s iQOO 13, the iQOO 15 features a metal construction, a squircle-shaped camera island on the back cover that houses three cameras and an LED flash, and a volume rocker and power key on the right-side frame. Additionally, it has the phrase “100x Tele Lens,” confirming the existence of a telephoto unit.

While the iQOO 13 chose a non-periscope telephoto camera, the iQOO 12 had a periscope unit. We expect that the periscope telephoto will make a reappearance with the iQOO 15, as rumoured.

The iQOO 15 will be the first smartphone to run OriginOS 6 right out of the box, the company said, along with the design of the colour-changing variant. Expect the iQOO 15 to be unveiled before the Vivo X300 and X300 Pro launch on October 13, which will also run OriginOS 6. Vivo’s Chinese website and independent online merchants are currently accepting pre-orders for the iQOO 15.
