According to a leak released earlier today, the S26, S26 Edge, and S26 Ultra will be the three members of Samsung’s Galaxy S26 family, which is set to launch in January. The Plus model will be retired.

There are only three codenames for the upcoming devices—NPA1, NPA2, and NPA3—which is another rumour that subtly supports this. Since all of the codenames for the S25 family were “paradigm,” these stand for “next paradigm” or “new paradigm.”

According to reports, the S26 Ultra will feature a 50 MP telephoto camera with a 5x optical zoom in addition to a 200 MP primary camera, which may use a brand-new, large Sony sensor. While the base model S26 might not get any camera upgrades at all, the Galaxy S26 Edge will get a 50 MP ultrawide.

The source maintains that this information is more trustworthy than the typical leak or rumour because it is based on (unnamed) publicly available databases that are obviously connected to Samsung and its suppliers. It remains to be seen if that is accurate.
