Recently, the Vivo V60 has appeared on several key certification websites, suggesting that its release is imminent. According to a recent leak from tipster Abhishek Yadav, the Vivo V60 is expected to launch on August 19, 2025, although Vivo has not yet formally confirmed the device.

The tipster claims that in addition to the Vivo V60, which will run Android 16, Vivo may also release OriginOS. Vivo currently only allows OriginOS to be used in its home market, while providing FuntouchOS to users outside of China; this would be a significant change. In line with this new tip, previous reports had suggested that OriginOS might expand beyond China. The merger of FuntouchOS and OriginOS might not be finalised.

The Vivo V60 is expected to be powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 SoC, run on Android 15, and feature at least 8GB of RAM, according to previous Geekbench listings. While other leaks suggest the phone will feature a 6.67-inch OLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IP69 rating, TUV certification indicates support for 90W wired fast charging. It is reported to have a 6,500 mAh battery and UFS 2.2 storage under the hood.

According to rumours, the V60 will feature a triple rear camera setup, which will include an 8MP sensor, a 50MP 3x periscope camera with OIS, and a 50MP primary sensor with OIS. Although certifications and leaks provide these details, Vivo has not yet made an official announcement. More updates are anticipated with just over a month remaining, perhaps as early as the first week of August 2025.
