We have already seen teasers for Samsung’s impending first tri-fold gadget, which was one of the first in the market for folding phones. Thanks to the folks at Android Authority, who discovered animation files concealed in the most recent One UI 8 build, we now have a genuine look at the tri-fold, which some speculations suggest we might see at next week’s Galaxy Unpacked presentation.

These display the design of the device, which consists of two inward-folding hinges and three rear panels. The more intriguing aspect is that Samsung’s tri-fold hinges come in a variety of sizes and are said to fold inward rather than outward, unlike Huawei’s Mate XT.
This implies that, as seen in the animation below, Samsung’s smartphone must be unfolded from right to left. The right side of the device, which houses the three rear cameras on its back, should not be folded inward as this could damage the display, according to a different video. When the primary folding screen is fully open, the device’s cover screen will be centred.
According to earlier rumours, Samsung’s tri-fold is internally known as Q7M, but the One UI 8 code refers to it as Multifold 7. According to earlier sources, it is known as the Galaxy G Fold, however its official commercial name is still pending.
Samsung’s first tri-fold gadget is expected to feature a 6.54″ cover display and a 9.96″ folding screen, according to earlier rumours. It may only be released in China and South Korea and is expected to weigh approximately 300 grams.
