The stable version of Android 16 was made available by Google last month, and other Android manufacturers will soon begin updating their devices with it. Realme has taken the initiative to disclose preliminary information regarding the launch, while the majority of brands have remained mute on the matter. Realme pledged in a recent press release to be one of the first companies to release Android 16 on its flagship handsets.

Realme’s newest flagship phones, the GT 7 series, will be the first to receive the most recent software update. More precisely, the Snapdragon 8 Elite-powered Realme GT 7 Pro will be the first phone to receive the Realme UI 7 update, which is based on Android 16. After that, the Realme GT 7 and Realme GT 7T, which are powered by the Dimensity 9400e and 8400, respectively, will be added to the rollout.

The brand will focus on the GT 6 lineup, starting with the GT 6 and GT 6T, after the rollout of the Realme GT 7 series is complete.

The firm has not disclosed the precise timing of the Realme UI 7 rollout. It has, however, committed to revealing the release date this autumn. Additionally, Realme did not disclose which of its devices were eligible for the update.
