Xiaomi’s Mix Flip 2 is scheduled to launch on Thursday, June 26. We already know this, and the teasers keep coming. The most recent ones display the phone’s main specifications and design.
The Mix Flip 2 will have a similar design to the Mix Flip from the previous year, but Xiaomi will add new colour options like green, purple, and a chequered beige option. Additionally, Mix Flip 2 will have a frosted metal midframe and a new, more robust hinge structure. When folded, the device will weigh 199 grammes and be 7.57 mm thin.
The 4.01″ OLED cover screen of the Mix Flip 2 has a peak local brightness of 3,200 nits and curves on three sides. According to Xiaomi, you will be able to run multiple apps simultaneously and more than 500 apps will function on the cover screen.
The 6.86″ diagonal of the main screen will remain, and Xiaomi is promoting a new “ultra-tough flexible glass” that is supposedly more resilient than the one found on its predecessor. Other features of the Mix Flip 2 include a 5,165mAh silicon-carbon battery with 67W wired and 50W wireless charging and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading version chipset.
In related news, two Geekbench listings featured Mix Flip 2. The device achieved 9,583 multi-core scores and 3,099 single-core points. We also received confirmation that it does have a Snapdragon 8 Elite chip and 12GB of RAM, with Android 15 handling software.
