In India, Oppo has introduced the A5 Pro 5G and A5x 5G smartphones so far. The Oppo A5 5G is a new model that the company has secretly introduced to its range today. At Rs 15,499, it is priced between the A5x and A5 Pro. Check out what the phone has to offer consumers.
Oppo A5 5G:
The Oppo A5 5G will sport a 6.67″ HD+ (1604 x 720p) LCD flat display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner & HDR10 support. Oppo A5 has the Dimensity 6300 SoC coupled with 6GB/8GB LPDDRX4 RAM and 128GB UFS 2.2 internal storage space. It also gets a microSD card slot for storage expansion.
The Oppo A5 5G will feature dual rear cameras, one with a 50MP (f/1.8)main sensor and two with 2MP (f/2.4) depth sensors and LED flash. The front camera will have a 8MP (f/2.5) selfie shooter.
The connectivity option includes Dual SIM with 4G, 5G, and VoLTE support. It comes with Dual Band Wifi, Dual Frequency (L1 + L5) GPS, NavIC, A-GPS, GLONASS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5 mm audio jack with Hi-Res support, FM Radio, NFC, Bluetooth 5.1.
This is backed by a 6000 mAh battery with 45W fast charging. It runs on Android 15 OS based on ColorOS 15 on top.
The Oppo A5 5G has an SGS Gold durability mark, military-grade (MIL-STD-810H) shock resistance, and IP65-rated protection against dust and water. It has double-tempered glass that is 160% stronger than usual, watertight sealing, and reinforced ports. It is made to withstand drops, scratches, and harsh conditions thanks to its strong metal frame. A layer of Gorilla Glass 7i protects the screen. The device weighs 194 grams and has dimensions of 165.7 x 76.2 x 7.9 mm.

The Oppo A5 5G with 6GB/128GB costs Rs.15,499/— and 8GB/128GB at Rs.16,999/- in India. It will be available on Amazon, Flipkart, and the OPPO Store. It is available in two colour options: Aurora Green and Mist White.
