The release date for OnePlus’s high-end TWS earphones and next-generation Nord series smartphones has finally been disclosed. Here is all you need to know about the just-announced worldwide release of the much-awaited Nord 5, Nord CE 5, and OnePlus Buds 4.
According to the Chinese company’s official statement, the Nord 5 will launch on July 8, 2025, at 2:00 PM IST, with the OnePlus Buds 4 and Nord CE 5. Recall that the Ace 5 Ultra Edition was relaunched as the OnePlus Nord 5. The Nord 5 will use a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, but the Ace 5 Ultra will include MediaTek’s flagship Dimensity 9400+ SoC. According to OnePlus, this is the fastest Nord it has ever made. It also has the biggest VC cooling system and can support 144 frames per second for CODM and BGMI (via frame interpolation).
The Nord CE 5, on the other hand, is a renamed worldwide version of the Ace 5 Racing Edition and has a lower price tag. Some changes will be made, such as switching from the Dimensity 9400e chipset to the Dimensity 8350 SoC. The Nord CE 5 could be powered by a bigger 7,100mAh cell; however, the Nord 5 might have a massive 6,700mAh or 7,000mAh battery pack.
Finally, the OnePlus Buds 4 will be the third product released next month. Teasers have revealed features like dual DACs with 6mm tweeters and 11mm woofers and almost lossless sound. Additionally supported are 3D spatial audio, Hi-Res audio, and LHDC 5.0. Zen Green and Storm Grey are the two colour options that OnePlus will provide for these TWS earphones.
