This year’s last quarter should see the release of new flagship phones from different brands. According to a recent leak, the Xiaomi 16 series may be unveiled as early as September, while flagships from other brands are expected to debut in October. According to a new leak by tipster Smart Pikachu, the Oppo Find X9 series and the OnePlus 14 are expected to break cover in October this year.

Oppo is set to follow brands like Vivo, Xiaomi, and Honor in adopting 200-megapixel periscope cameras last year. The Find X9 Pro is expected to switch to a single 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens instead of the Find X8 Pro/Ultra, which featured dual 50-megapixel periscope lenses.

Oppo and its sub-brand, likely OnePlus, are preparing to launch smartphones with 200-megapixel periscope telephoto cameras this year. With this advanced camera setup, users won’t have to wait for an Ultra model to be released in 2026, indicating that both brands could offer this feature even on their standard flagship models.

Based on previous rumours, the OnePlus 14 will be one of the key beneficiaries of this upgrade. According to rumours, OP14 will feature a flat display, a large battery, and a Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The Find X9 series, on the other hand, is expected to feature the Dimensity 9500. Oppo also plans to maintain its slim flagship design reputation despite adding a 200-megapixel camera. Official unveilings are reportedly scheduled for October.
