Samsung’s Galaxy Watch8 series is likely to have a squircle-shaped body, similar to that of the Galaxy Watch Ultra. The Galaxy Watch8 is available in two sizes, while Watch8 Classic, which returns the rotating bezel, only comes in one size.
An in-depth look at the One UI 8 Watch firmware for the Galaxy Watch8 Classic provided the following information. Images of these devices are shown in one of the animation files (to the left of the names are the internal Samsung codenames).

The original Galaxy Watch Ultra may remain the top dog for another year, since there is no mention of the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2. According to the above images, the Watch8 series will include a squircle body with a circular display, just like the Galaxy Watch Ultra. In addition to its divisive design, the rest of the range uses it.
Galaxy Watch8 Classic could also get a Quick Button and support for extended vibration patterns like the Galaxy Watch Ultra. This data does not indicate whether the rotating bezel will also be included.
With One UI 8 Watch, the Samsung Galaxy Watch8 series will bring the Now Bar to watches, which was introduced with One UI 7 on smartphones. The watch will also support randomised watch faces, a battery protection feature limiting charging to a certain percentage, and a Shortcuts app that lets you add frequently used apps to its face.
