Vivo is preparing to launch its Vivo V70 series in India on February 19, with two models expected: the Vivo V70 and the Vivo V70 Elite. The Elite version is drawing particular attention, as it is rumoured to be the first V-series device to use a Snapdragon 8‑series processor. Ahead of the announcement, a new leak has outlined possible prices, storage options, and pre-order timelines for both phones.
According to tipster Abhishek Yadav, the regular Vivo V70 may arrive in two variants: 8GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs 45,999 and 12GB RAM with 256GB storage at Rs 49,999. It is said to come in at least two colours, Passion Red and Lemon Yellow.
The Vivo V70 Elite is expected to start at Rs 51,999 for the 8GB+256GB model. The 12GB+256GB version is possibly priced at Rs 56,999, and the 12GB+512GB option at Rs 61,999. The same leak suggests pre-bookings could run from February 12 to 24. With open sales likely scheduled between February 25 and 28, followed by a promotional “Superweek” from February 25 to March 3.
Vivo V70 Elite:
The new Vivo V70 Elite will feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K flat AMOLED display (2640 x 1216 pixels). It features a 120Hz refresh rate. It is now powered by a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC, paired with 12GB/16GB of RAM and 256GB/512GB of storage.
Vivo V70 Elite features a 50MP primary with an f/1.88 aperture and OIS, and an 8MP ultra-wide sensor. Lastly, a 50MP IMX882 3x-periscope telephoto camera with an f/2.65 aperture exists. On the front, it ships with a massive 50MP selfie shooter with dual soft LED flash.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 6, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and a USB-C port.
It packs a 6500 mAh battery with 90W wired charging. The device runs on Android 16 with OriginOS 6.0 on top. The device also features NFC, an IP68/IP69 rating, and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
