vivo recently launched the X200T and is already lining up its next releases: the V70 and V70 Elite. The brand hasn’t shared the launch date yet, but a promo page on vivo India’s website confirms the core specs, design (likely of the Elite), and processors.

Specs:

The V70 Elite will run on the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3, while the regular V70 gets the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4. Both will feature LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.1 storage, with at least one Elite variant offering 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. Out of the box, the phones will ship with OriginOS 6, based on Android 16, and will receive four major OS updates plus six years of security patches.

Up front, the V70 series uses a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, HDR, and up to 5,000 nits peak brightness. The display includes a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner with anti-spoofing and wet-touch support. A centered punch-hole houses a 50MP selfie camera co-developed with ZEISS.

On the rear, there’s a ZEISS-branded triple setup: a 50MP main camera, a 50MP “Night Telephoto,” and an ultrawide camera rumoured at 8MP. Video recording supports up to 4K at 60fps, with 4K HDR. Vivo is also pushing AI features such as AI Petal Shower Portrait, AI Magic Weather, and an India-only AI Holi Portrait mode, which will be available from February 19 to March 15, 2026. The phones also support an AI Audio Noise Eraser feature.

Other highlights include a 6,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging and multi-scenario bypass charging, IP68 and IP69 ratings, a metal frame, and an X-Axis Linear Motor on the V70 Elite. Given the timing of the AI Holi Portrait rollout, the launch is expected between February 16 and 19, 2026. Both the V70 and V70 Elite will be priced under INR 50,000, targeting the upper mid-range segment.
