Another report on Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy S26 lineup has surfaced, directly challenging the earlier, somewhat dubious pricing leak. This new information, coming from industry insiders speaking to Tech Maniacs, suggests that all three models in the series will largely keep the same prices as their predecessors.
According to a source close to Samsung, the base price of the Galaxy S26 Ultra will remain unchanged. There is, however, a chance that higher storage versions could see modest increases. That would mainly be due to the rising costs of memory components in recent months. Even so, the overall pricing structure for the Ultra is expected to remain largely the same.

The standard Galaxy S26 might only see a price adjustment if Samsung bumps the base storage to 256 GB. For reference, the Galaxy S25 currently starts at 128 GB. Interestingly, the 512 GB version of the S26 is rumoured to become slightly cheaper than before. A similar strategy is allegedly planned for the Galaxy S26 Plus: the entry-level 256 GB variant should keep its existing price, while the 512 GB model might receive a minor tweak, but nothing drastic.
These decisions are reportedly driven by competition with Apple. Despite the surge in memory chip prices, Apple is expected to hold steady on its iPhone pricing this year. To avoid losing ground and stay attractive to buyers, Samsung is reportedly aiming to match last year’s pricing as closely as possible across the S26 range.
