The Realme 16 Pro lineup is scheduled to launch on January 6, featuring two models: the Realme 16 Pro and the Realme 16 Pro+. Realme has already confirmed most of the key specifications, and now a new leak has shed light on how much these phones will cost in India.

According to a tipster, the Realme 16 Pro+ will reportedly start at INR 39,999 for the 8GB/128GB variant. The 8GB/256GB version is said to be priced at INR 41,999, while the top-end 12GB/256GB model could cost INR 44,999.

One of the standout features of the Realme 16 Pro+ is its 50MP periscope telephoto camera, which complements the high-resolution primary sensor and should offer improved zoom capabilities.

The standard Realme 16 Pro is expected to be more budget-friendly. Leaks suggest it will start at INR 31,999 for the base 8GB/128GB variant. The 8GB/256GB option is tipped to cost INR 33,999, and the 12GB/256GB model may cost INR 36,999.

Unlike the Pro+ model, the Realme 16 Pro will feature a flat frame design, giving it a slightly different in-hand feel and aesthetic.

Under the hood, the Realme 16 Pro+ is rumoured to run on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, while the regular 16 Pro will be powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Max 5G processor. Both phones are expected to share a 200MP primary rear camera, but the Pro+ version will also include the additional 50MP periscope telephoto unit for enhanced zoom.

Realme has also confirmed that both devices will come with a sizeable 7,000mAh battery and an AMOLED display capable of reaching up to 6,500 nits of peak brightness. On the software side, they will ship with Android 16-based Realme UI 7.0, and Realme has promised three major OS updates for the series.
