Qualcomm will unveil the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip later this month, according to reliable tipster Digital Chat Station. Motorola will be one of the brands to release a phone with the said chipset in the near future. Tipster has revealed what appears to be the key specs of the alleged Edge 70 Ultra, without naming the device.
A new leak suggests that Motorola Edge 70 Ultra, which is expected to launch in 2026, will feature a periscope telephoto camera and 1.5K OLED screen. Despite not specifying the name, it appears the tipster may be referring to the Edge 70 Ultra.
The Motorola Razr 70 Ultra and Edge 70 Ultra are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 next year. Only the Edge 70 Ultra may feature a periscope camera like its previous generation, however. As a result, it appears that the tipster may be referring to the Edge 70 Ultra.
Currently, there is no information on the Edge 70 Ultra, but it is expected to launch in 2026. The Edge 70 Ultra is not the only Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 phone expected to launch in China soon.
