In late February 2026, the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is expected to debut. A recent leak now seems to confirm predictions that the flagship may forego significant camera enhancements this year.
With the exception of the 10MP telephoto sensor being replaced, the Galaxy S26 Ultra is anticipated to have the same camera technology as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, according to a tipster.
According to reports, the new 12MP Samsung S5K3LD sensor is used by the 3x telephoto camera. The phone will have a new APV video codec option, according to the leak.
A 200MP Samsung HP2 primary rear camera, a 50MP JN3 ultrawide camera, and a 50MP Sony IMX854 periscope telephoto system with 5x optical zoom will all be available on the Galaxy S26 Ultra. According to the tipster, the phone would use a 12MP Sony IMX874 sensor for selfies.
