A fresh leak has surfaced, showcasing what appears to be the retail packaging of the upcoming OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max. With this new naming, OnePlus seems to be jumping on the “Pro Max” bandwagon for its next performance flagship. A move that follows the recent release of Redmi’s K90 series, where the top-end model adopted the Pro Max branding.

The newly leaked images reveal the Ace 6 Pro Max box, hinting that the device will pack more of a punch than the standard OnePlus Ace 6. OnePlus had already announced plans to be the first to roll out a handset featuring the much-anticipated Snapdragon 8 Gen 5. That puts the Ace 6 Pro Max in pole position as we approach its global unveiling.

Rumour mills are also hinting that the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max might be the very same device that’s appeared under the Ace 6 Turbo moniker in recent leaks. If that’s true, we can expect a 6.7-inch OLED display with 1.5K resolution and an ultra-smooth 165Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 would be paired with an impressive 8,000 mAh battery featuring rapid 100W charging.

On the camera front, leaks point to a 32MP selfie shooter and a dual-rear-camera setup, with a 50MP primary sensor with OIS and an 8MP ultra-wide lens.

Additional features are said to include ColorOS 16 powered by Android 16, dual stereo speakers, a robust x-axis vibration motor, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint reader, NFC, and a sturdy metal frame weighing about 216 grams. Buyers can choose from Flash Black, Electric Purple, and Glimpse Green colourways, with a special edition possibly on the horizon.

There’s more good news for Indian consumers: sources suggest the OnePlus Ace 6 Pro Max will arrive in India before the close of 2025. Though it’s expected to be rebranded as the OnePlus 15R for the market.
