Android Authority spotted a reference to the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 in one of the early leaked One UI 8.5 builds. The reference comes in the form of an icon.
One UI 8.5 contains icons for Samsung’s smart wearables, including the still-unreleased Galaxy Buds 4. Based on the file name “list_ic_earbuds_buds4”, it is safe to assume these are the Buds 4.
Despite looking like a rough sketch, it suggests a design change for the Galaxy Buds 4. In the same firmware, you can see the Buds 3 icon. Design distinguishes itself clearly.
According to Samsung’s software builds, the Buds 4 series is likely to launch soon. The Buds 3 series launched in July last year, so they’re overdue for an upgrade. As of now, we don’t know much about the Galaxy Buds 4 and 4 Pro, so we might not be as close to a release as we once thought.
