In a press release, Realme confirmed its upcoming GT 8 Pro flagship phone will be equipped with the newly launched Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC.
Additionally, the Chinese manufacturer noted that the phone would be launched in global markets soon, although no exact date was given. Next month, the Realme GT 8 series will be unveiled in China.
Using the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 SoC, Realme claims the GT 8 Pro has surpassed the 4 million mark on AnTuTu. It is also said to be able to run two games at high frame rates simultaneously.
In addition to the base Realme GT 8, a Realme GT 8 Pro model will also be available. According to the company, the Pro model will feature a 200MP periscope telephoto camera and a 2K screen.
A dual-symmetrical speaker system will also be included in the GT 8 Pro, along with a graphics chip known as R1.
