Making the cameras even better has taken up a large portion of the development effort for the next generation of Oppo Find X9s. The company continues to work on the in-house Lumo Super Pixel Engine and collaborates with Hasselblad.

On the Oppo Find X9 Pro, Liu Zuohu shared a picture taken with the 200MP periscope to offer us a preview of what to expect. Additionally, Liu provided this edit to highlight the image quality because the full 200MP image cannot be shared on Weibo (or any other social network, actually).

In any case, Liu asserts that image clarity and colour accuracy are more crucial for flagship image quality than high pixel counts.

Leaks indicate that the Find X9 Pro will have a 50MP ultra-wide (JN5), 200MP telephoto (HP5), and 50MP primary camera (LYT-828). According to Liu, “dynamic triple exposure” will be supported by the primary camera for the first time in the industry. Furthermore, all three cameras have been adjusted to yield reliable results in a variety of shooting modes (pictures, live images, and videos) and focal lengths.

In addition to an enhanced Master Mode, Oppo’s collaboration with Hasselblad will introduce XPAN Mode with Ultra Light and Shadow. The Hasselblad imaging kit for the Find X9 Pro is an additional option.

Some of these improvements will also be advantageous for other Find X9 models. For instance, the Danxia lenses that were previously only available for the X8 Ultra will now be used with all X9 models.
