Smartphone manufacturers rushed to the Internet to compare their upcoming phones with Apple’s latest and greatest following yesterday’s massive iPhone 17 reveal. Oppo’s Zhou Yibao posted several images and information on the Find X9 series, including one with an iPhone.
The smaller Find X9 will contain a 7,025mAh power cell, while the larger 7,500mAh battery will be found in the Oppo Find X9 Pro. Zhou had previously verified the Pro’s battery specifications and its 8.25mm thickness.
Although the X9 Pro’s weight was not specified, Digital Chat Station claims that it will weigh 224g, while the vanilla X9 will weigh 203g and have a thickness of 7.99mm. Note that they have different screen sizes; the vanilla model will have a 6.69″ screen, while the Pro has a larger 6.78″ panel.
Following up on Zhou’s post, the X9 series will employ “cold carving” technology, and the hero colour will be “Titanium” (although the chassis will probably be aluminium). It’s interesting to note that the screen will have eye protection features and even a motion sickness-reduction mode.
In relation to it, the entire X9 series will feature flat screens and the tiniest screen bezels to date, which will be equal on all sides (unconfirmed information indicates they will measure 1.1mm).
Zhou claims that the X9 will significantly enhance video recording. Additionally, the phones will come pre-installed with ColorOS 16, which supports Apple devices natively. The executive showed this by pairing AirPods 4 with a Find X9.
