In India, Poco has introduced the Poco M7 Plus 5G, a new low-cost smartphone. It is the most recent phone in the M series and replaces the August 2024-released M6 Plus.
Poco announced the M7 Plus a few hours ago, but the company had also planned a slight surprise to accompany it: the Poco M7 4G. The 4G-only model, which debuted in Poland and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 685 4G SoC, is not to be confused with the M7 5G, which was introduced back in March.
POCO M7 Plus 5G:
The new POCO M7 Plus will feature a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD display. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass protection, an oleophobic coating & 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by a Snapdragon 6s Gen 3 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB/256GBÂ storage.
It features a 50MP primary rear camera along with a 2MP depth sensor and LED flash. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 7000mAh battery with 33W charging support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with Dual 5G, 4G LTE and VoLTE, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, Dual-Band Wi-Fi, USB Type-C port, NFC, FM Radio, and a 3.5 mm audio jack. It runs on Android 15 OS with HyperOS 2 on top. The POCO M7 Plus 5G also features an IR blaster, fingerprint sensor, and microSD card slot. This time, the device also gets an IP64 rating, making it dust and water-resistant.
POCO M7 4G:
The new POCO M7 4G will sport a 6.9-inch FHD+ IPS LCD with a resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels, & a 20:9 aspect ratio. The display also features Corning Gorilla Glass protection, an oleophobic coating & 144Hz refresh rate. It is powered by an SD685 SoC coupled with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB storage.
It features a 108MP primary rear camera with LED flash, along with a 2MP macro sensor with an aperture of f/2.2. The device comes with an 8MP selfie shooter with an f/2.2 aperture. It packs a 7000 mAh battery with 33W charging support. The device comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Pricing:
Chrome Silver, Carbon Black, and Aqua Blue are the colours that are offered for sale in India. The 6 GB/128 GB model starts at INR 13,999 ($160), while the 8 GB/128 GB model costs INR 14,999 ($170). In India, the phone will go on sale on August 19.
