The range of Samsung Fan Editions is set to expand. Leaked information suggests that the Galaxy Buds 3 FE, anticipated to be released later in 2025, will offer an advantage over the standard Buds 3 in terms of noise isolation.
Evan Blass, a leaker, posted the first picture of the Buds 3 FE on X on July 19, 2025. The appearance resembles that of the Buds 3 and Buds 3 Pro, and it features touch controls for playback and volume adjustment. However, the Buds 3 FE will employ silicone ear tips, which is a minor adjustment that might have a significant impact, in contrast to the open-fit Buds 3.
More effective active noise cancellation (ANC) and improved passive noise isolation are frequently associated with a tight in-ear fit. The Buds 3 are reportedly prone to issues due to their open shape.
ANC, Ambient Mode, longer battery life, and maybe Galaxy AI capabilities like real-time translation via Interpreter Mode are all anticipated for the Buds 3 FE. They’re starting to seem like a desirable choice in the low-cost wireless earbud market, particularly when you consider Bixby integration, an equaliser through the Galaxy Wearable app, and Bluetooth 5.4 with LE Audio.
