Although it is not anticipated that the Samsung Galaxy S26 series will be released before 2026, there have been lengthy online rumours regarding the lineup, with the most recent discussion focusing on the primary camera and battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra doesn’t have the same 5,000 mAh battery as the Galaxy S25 Ultra, according to GalaxyClub and UniverseIce. The latter claims that although the battery capacity is the same, the energy density has increased, making the S26 Ultra’s 5,000 mAh battery smaller than that of the S25 Ultra. Although it doesn’t give any details, UniverseIce also claims that the S26 Ultra might charge more quickly. It takes up to 45W to charge the S25 Ultra.

It’s unclear whether the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra’s primary camera will utilise a new sensor, but GalaxyClub has stated that it will feature a 200MP resolution, similar to the S25 Ultra.

Anticipate more information about the lineup in the upcoming months, as the Galaxy S26 series won’t be revealed until January 2026.
