The tech world is buzzing with fresh leaks about Samsung’s upcoming foldable lineup just 48 hours before their official unveiling. According to trusted leaker Roland Quandt from WinFuture, who claims to have accessed Samsung’s official marketing materials. We can expect to see three new models: the Galaxy Z Fold 7, Z Flip 7, and a new Z Flip 7 FE.
The details, which will be officially showcased at this Wednesday’s Galaxy Unpacked event on July 9th, include comprehensive specs about the devices’ screens, storage options, battery capacities, and other key features.
Galaxy Z Fold7:
The Galaxy Z Fold7 5G will feature two new Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays, measuring 8.0 inches each, with a resolution of 2184 x 1968 pixels (21.6:9 aspect ratio) and a 120Hz refresh rate. It features Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on top, and a secondary 6.5-inch HD+ AMOLED display (2316 x 968p) is also included. There is an Armour Aluminium frame.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 5G is indeed powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC coupled with 12GB RAM and 256GB/512GB/1TB internal storage space.

Cameras & Connectivity:

It comes with triple rear cameras featuring 200MP with f / 1.8, 1.8 µm, OIS, 2PD, 10MP telephoto lens with f/2.4, OIS, with 3x optical zoom and 12MP ultra-wide sensor with 123-degrees FoV, f/2.2 aperture with LED flash.

The device features a new 12MP selfie camera on the internal display, equipped with an f/1.8 aperture. The external display features a 10MP selfie camera with an f/2.2 aperture. The Galaxy Z Fold7 5G is also certified with an IP48 rating, making it dust and water-resistant. It also gets  S-Pen support, wireless charging, and Dolby Atmos speakers.

The connectivity option includes a Single SIM with 4G LTE and VoLTE support, as well as 5G, NFC, A-GPS, GLONASS, NavIC, USB Type-C, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth 5.3. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The device runs on Android 16 with One UI 8 on top.

The Galaxy Z Fold7 ships with a 4,400 mAh battery, supporting 25W fast charging and 15W wireless charging. Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 will be available in three colours: Jet Black, Silver Shadow, and Blue Shadow. Last but not least, the new foldable is thinner and lighter than its predecessor.

Galaxy Z Flip7:

The new Galaxy Z Flip7 5G will sport the larger 6.9 inches (2520 x 1080p) Dynamic AMOLED 2x LTPO foldable FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones feature an Armour Aluminium frame, and the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top, featuring a larger 4.1-inch (748 x 720p) OLED secondary HD display. It is now powered by Exynos 2500 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 5G still features the new set of dual rear cameras with a 50MP main wide sensor with f/1.8 aperture, OIS, dual PD, and 12MP ultra-wide f/2.2 aperture with 123-degrees FoV and LED flash. There is the same 10MP selfie sensor with an aperture of f/2.4.

The Galaxy Z Flip7 5G features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner and is rated IPX8, making it dust- and water-resistant. The connectivity option includes Dual SIM (1 eSIM + 1 SIM) with support for Dual 4G LTE and VoLTE, as well as 5G. There is also Wifi 6E, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.3, USB Type-C port, and NFC.

The device packs a 4300 mAh battery with 25W fast charging & 15W wireless charging. It runs on Android 16 with One UI 8 on top. It folds into a pocket-friendly size (85.1 x 71.9 x 14.9 mm) while remaining lightweight at 187g. When unfolded (165.1 x 71.9 x 6.9 mm).

There are several colour options available for the phone, including Silver Shadow, Jet Black, Blue Shadow, and Mint.

Galaxy Z Flip7 FE:

The new Galaxy Z Flip7 FE 5G will feature a 6.7-inch (2640 x 1080p) Dynamic AMOLED 2X LTPO foldable FHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The phones feature an Armour Aluminium frame, and are protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on the display. It comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top, featuring a larger 4.1-inch (748 x 720p) OLED secondary HD display. It is now powered by Exynos 2400 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 256GB/512GB internal storage.
