Xiaomi and its subsidiary Redmi are preparing to introduce their flagship smartphones of the upcoming generation in China. The Redmi K90 and K90 Pro are expected to be unveiled in October, while the Xiaomi 16 series is anticipated to launch in September. Famous tipster Digital Chat Station posted a new article on Weibo today that included important information about the Redmi K90 Pro.
The tipster claims that the Redmi K90 Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 (SM8850) platform, will be a major upgrade. The addition of a periscope telephoto camera, a first for the K-series, is one of the most notable modifications. In contrast, the Redmi K80 Pro from the previous year only had a conventional telephoto lens.
According to reports, the K90 Pro’s design aims to provide a high-end flagship experience by including a large X-axis linear motor, symmetric dual speakers, a 3D ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a metal frame.
It is anticipated that the Redmi K90 Pro will be available exclusively in China; however, it may be rebranded as the Poco F8 Ultra for international markets.
