According to a recent rumour in China, the CPU of the Oppo Find X9 Pro, which will use the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 9500 chipset, has exceeded the 4 GHz threshold in testing for the first time in MediaTek’s history. It’s unclear if production units will experience this in the same way.

For comparison, MediaTek’s current top-tier processor, the Dimensity 9400+, has a single core with a clock speed of up to 3.73 GHz. According to reports, the Find X9 Pro has a symmetrical bezel, a flat screen with “1.5K” resolution, and a glass or fibreglass back for the white model.

A 200MP periscope telephoto camera will be one of its key features. There have been previous rumours that this will make use of Samsung’s upcoming 1/1.56″ ISOCELL HP5 sensor.
