Everyone is looking forward to the unveiling of Samsung’s new foldable phone later today, but the Galaxy S25 FE has been certified by the Wireless Power Consortium (WPC) and has snuck up on everyone. We can confirm that the smartphone is compatible with the Qi 2.1 wireless charging standard.

We also got a live look at the S25 FE (SM-S731), which will feature a triple camera configuration and aluminium camera rings, similar to the S20 FE. The listing states that the S25 FE supports the Basic Power Profile (BPP) at 5W speeds, which is likely incorrect since the S24 FE already supports 15W rates.

The Galaxy S25 FE is likely to feature a flagship Super AMOLED display measuring 6.7 inches in width and boasting fewer bezels than the S24 FE. Samsung is also adding a new 12MP selfie camera, while retaining the same 50MP primary camera, 8MP 3x telephoto camera, and 12MP ultrawide rear camera.

There have been many reports on which chipset will run the device. Some older speculations say that it will get the same Exynos 2400e as the S24 FE, but there are also rumors that it will get MediaTek’s Dimensity 9400 or the entire Exynos 2400, according to a listing on Geekbench.

The Galaxy S24FE was released in October of last year; therefore, the S25FE might be released around the same time.
