Samsung’s first tri-fold phone was the subject of a recent leak. The phone’s sole processor will be a Snapdragon SoC, most likely the Snapdragon 8 Elite for the Galaxy. Samsung will build its device out of titanium and aluminium, and it won’t have any under-display camera. More details are provided below.

It was provided by tipster PandaFlashPro, who disseminated the information via X. According to him, the information he shares has been “confirmed,” meaning that one of his sources has verified it.

The company’s initial trifold smartphone won’t have an under-display camera. Given that the Galaxy Z Fold 7 is also doing away with it, that is not surprising at all. Several earlier Galaxy Z Fold models featured it on the primary screen.

According to the tipster, the tri-fold phone’s combination of titanium and aluminium will also give it “better durability.” It will only use a Snapdragon chip as its power source. No second SoC variant will exist.

Additionally, the phone was stated to have 16GB of RAM. This will be the only RAM option available for that phone, and we’re most likely looking at LPDDR5X RAM here.

The tipster also said he awaits confirmation after receiving “disappointing battery capacity information.” That suggests a conventional battery rather than a silicon-carbon battery, and he mentioned that the phone will have a higher-density battery.
