Samsung is preparing to introduce the Galaxy Buds Core, a new line of wireless earphones, in India. A recent teaser on the business’s X (formerly Twitter) profile revealed just enough information to confirm the name without explicitly stating it.

The promotional phrase “Let the music move you to the core” suggests the name of the next product. However, there’s more than a clue. The HTML structure and meta tags of the Samsung India webpage that the post links to show several backend references to the moniker “Galaxy Buds Core.”

Samsung’s regional support sites and the Bureau of Indian Standards’ (BIS) certification database already list the Galaxy Buds Core, which usually indicates an impending release.

The earbuds were temporarily listed on Samsung’s UAE website prior to any local announcement; however, the item was then removed. According to a screenshot of the listing page that Gadgets360 quickly took, the Galaxy Buds Core will be offered in black and white.

The charging case resembles the one with the Galaxy Buds 2, while the earbuds seem to sport a stemless design.

In addition to standard Bluetooth profiles like A2DP and HFP, the rumor claims that the Buds Core will include Bluetooth 5.4 and compatibility for AAC, SBC, and Samsung’s Scalable codec. According to reports, the earbuds include touch controls and an IP54 designation, which protects them against dust and spills.

Active noise cancellation (ANC), a noteworthy function for inexpensive earphones, is one noteworthy component. Real-time translation capabilities like Interpreter and Live Translate are among the Galaxy AI technologies that Samsung is anticipated to activate. However, these could only function with more recent Samsung smartphones.

Additionally, it is stated that the buds may last up to 20 hours while the ANC is switched on and up to 35 hours when it is off. The cover has a 500mAh battery, and each bud has a 65mAh battery. In terms of dimensions, the charging case weighs 31.2g, while the earphones weigh around 5.3g apiece.
