Samsung’s most recent M-series handset, the Galaxy M36, was unveiled today in India. The revised camera island gives it a new look, but the specifications are mostly the same as those of the Galaxy M35 from the previous year.
Galaxy M36:
The new Galaxy M36 5G will feature a 6.6-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The device comes with Corning Gorilla Glass Victus+ on top. The Exynos 1380 SoC powers it, paired with 6 GB or 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB or 256 GB of storage space. It measures 8.2 mm thick and weighs 209 g.
The Samsung Galaxy M36 5G will feature triple rear cameras with an LED flash. The device will come with a 50MP primary sensor featuring an f/1.8 aperture and OIS, coupled with an 8MP ultra-wide unit with an f/2.2 aperture, along with a 5MP macro sensor with an f/2.4 aperture and LED flash. There is a 13MP selfie shooter under the waterdrop notch.
The device will ship with the same 5000 mAh battery with 25W fast charge support. It runs on Android 15 OS with One UI 7 on top. It features an in-display fingerprint scanner and an IP67 rating, making it resistant to dust and water.
The connectivity options include Dual SIM with 5G, Dual 4G LTE, and VoLTE support, Wi-Fi 6.0, A-GPS, NFC, 3.5mm audio jack, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5.2, USB Type-C port, and FM Radio. Galaxy M36 arrives in Orange Haze, Velvet Black and Serene Green.
Pricing:
Samsung Galaxy M36 with 6GB/128GB will cost Rs.17,499/-, 8GB/128GB at Rs.17,999/- and 8GB/256GB at Rs.20,499/- in India. On July 12th, Amazon.in will begin selling it during Prime Day. Samsung.com and select retail stores will also offer the phone for sale.
