Redmi released the Redmi Pad 2 earlier this month in a few Southeast Asian countries, including the Philippines. The same gadget is now formally available in the Indian market. The Redmi Pad 2 is an affordable Android tablet that prioritises battery life, display quality, and multi-device connectivity to serve users’ daily productivity, education, and entertainment needs.

Xiaomi’s new Redmi Pad 2 has an 11.0-inch LCD panel that supports 2.5K resolution and offers a refresh rate of 90 Hertz. It has a brightness of 400 candelas and a 10-bit colour depth.

It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G100 Ultra, which is coupled with 4GB/8GB RAM and 128GB/256GB of UFS 2.2 flash memory.

There is an 8MP camera on the back with autofocus, another with 5MP and a wide field of view of 105 degrees with FocusFrame technology on the front.

The Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 has a 9000 mAh battery that lasts at least a day. The device supports 18W fast charging, but Xiaomi will offer a 22W fast charger in the retail box. The device weighs 445 grams and is 7.1 millimetres thick.
Four Dolby Atmos-certified speakers, a microSD slot, and a headphone jack play back the audio. The tablet version uses Android 15 with HyperOS 2 on top.

Pricing:

The Redmi Pad 2 is available in graphite grey and mint green. In the Wi-Fi only trim, the 4/128GB version starts at Rs.13,999/-. The price for the LTE variant 6/128GB version is Rs.15,999/-, and for the 8/256GB version, it’s Rs.17,999/-.

The authorised retail stores, Flipkart, Amazon, and Mi.com will all sell the tablets and accessories. Additionally, Xiaomi is giving a flat bank discount of Rs 1,000 on a few HDFC card EMI transactions at launch.
