In the wake of the recent leak of the Xperia 1 VII, Sony smartphone fans had hoped that the mid-range Xperia 10 VII would also be launching on May 15. The Xperia 10 VII is reportedly launching in October, according to recent leaks.
According to an Esato forum user named Spektykles, the phone was expected to launch on October 10. A Reddit user, u/Aquis_GN, referenced a post from the Sony Fans Vietnam Facebook group. Sony may be taking more time to reposition the Xperia 10 VII at a slightly higher price point, potentially taking over the mid-range Xperia 5’s spot.
Sony’s Xperia 10 VII has been leaked with its expected specifications before. The display is likely to maintain its 6.1-inch FHD+ OLED aspect ratio and 120Hz refresh rate for improved visual smoothness. It is expected to feature a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and 8GB of RAM. Depending on Sony’s positioning, a higher-end processor may be possible. Sony’s dedicated shutter button will return, as well as a 50 MP primary camera and 5,000 mAh battery.
