Oppo launched the Find N5 in the first quarter of this year as the world’s first foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite. However, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station has leaked the first details about the Find N6. His recent Weibo post may have mentioned the N6’s chipset and launch date.
The tipster claims Oppo’s next foldable phone with the SM8850 chipset will launch in the first quarter of 2026. According to reports, the SM8850 model number belongs to the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor, which is expected to debut in September.
Although the tipster has not specified the device’s name, it seems likely that he is referring to the Oppo Find N6. With the Find N6, Oppo aims for an even thinner foldable profile. Its predecessor, the Find N5, achieved an industry-leading 8.93mm thickness, beating many bar-style flagships.
The Find N6 is expected to launch in Q1 2026. It may be the world’s first foldable equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 processor. The device’s other specs are unknown at the moment. Oppo is reportedly working on the Find X9 series of smartphones for the Chinese market this year.
