Samsung’s upcoming foldable phones, such as the Galaxy Z Fold7 and Galaxy Z Flip FE, have already been benchmarked on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. The Galaxy Z Flip7, which bears the SM-F766U model number, was also discovered on the same benchmarking platform to be powered by the Exynos chipset.
The Geekbench listing indicates that Samsung’s Exynos 2500 chipset will power the Galaxy Z Flip7, which is identified by the “s5e9955” model number. According to the listing, the Exynos 2500 is a 10-core CPU designed for efficiency and speed. It consists of two 1.80 GHz cores, five 2.36 GHz cores, two 2.75 GHz cores, and a 3.30 GHz high-performance core.
The CPU is complemented by the Xclipse 950 GPU, which has 12 GB RAM and Android 15. The device scored 2012 points in the single-core test and 7563 points in the multi-core test. In Geekbench, the Galaxy Z Flip7 variant with the letter “U” appears to be the US version.
Samsung used to offer Snapdragon phones in markets like the US and China, while Exynos phones were offered in other markets. The US variant of the Galaxy Z Flip7 has been revealed to have an Exynos chip, which indicates that the device may run the Exynos 2500 in all markets. It is too early to conclude the Z Flip7’s chipset.
