Sony will follow up on its Xperia 1 VI with the Xperia 1 VII. XpertPick and tipster OnLeaks have shared 5K CAD renders and a 360-degree video of the upcoming flagship.

It measures 161.9 x 74.5 x 8.5mm, slightly wider and thicker than the Xperia 1 VI (162 x 74 x 8.2mm), with the rear camera bump adding 11mm to its thickness. Display size remains 6.5 inches, with thick top and bottom bezels. According to the report, the upper bezel houses a selfie camera.

Based on the renderings, the finish appears to be black. On the right edge, there is a power button with an embedded fingerprint sensor, a volume rocker, and a dedicated shutter button, as on its predecessor. There are no buttons on the left edge.

On the bottom edge, there is a hybrid SIM slot supporting microSD, a microphone, and a USB-C port. Along the top edge, there is a 3.5mm audio jack and a microphone. A pair of front-firing speakers add to the audio experience.

On the rear is a vertical camera module comprising three lenses, including a periscope zoom lens. Cutouts suggesting a laser autofocus, microphone, or LED flash are visible.
