In India, Xiaomi will release an affordable phone. Flipkart revealed the Poco C71’s key features on a dedicated landing page. It will be available on April 4 for under INR 7,000.
With a 6.88-inch screen (likely LCD), Poco C71 will feature a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. Despite its low blue light emissions and minimal screen flicker, it is touted as the “segment’s most eye-friendly display.”

Additionally, the panel will support wet touch, making it possible to use the device even when wet. Up to 20,000 uses were tested for each USB-C port and 3.5 mm audio jack.
Xiaomi will include a 15W wired charger with the Poco C71, which has a 5,200mAh battery. After 3 years of use, the cell will retain at least 80% of its capacity.
The Poco C71 will have a 32MP main camera on the back and a basic 8MP selfie camera mounted on a waterdrop notch. It will also have 6 GB of RAM and an octa-core processor. AnTuTu’s score of 300,000 doesn’t tell us much about the SoC.
Xiaomi will provide the phone with 2 years of Android updates and 4 years of security updates. The mobile warranty covers over 19,000 locations in India for one year.
This phone is similar to the Redmi A5, which sells for €99 in Europe and has a Unisoc T7250 chipset. The launch will take place on Friday at 12 PM local time.
