According to OPPO, the F29 and F29 Pro smartphones, which replace last year’s F27 series, will be released in India on March 20th.

OPPO claims that the phones’ 360° Armour Body, exceptional waterproofing, and certification for more than 14 military-grade environmental tests mean they are designed to survive India’s worst climatic conditions.

According to OPPO, SGS (Société Générale de Surveillance) in India tests them for IP66, IP68, and IP69 classifications, which certify them against the greatest levels of dust and water intrusion. They weigh just 180g and are only 7.55mm thin. Additionally, OPPO unveiled the 6000mAh battery with 300% network boost and 80W rapid charging.

To certify the F29 series against high and low temperatures, shock, rain, freezing water, sand, dust, salt mist, solar radiation, humidity, vibration, fluid contamination, mold, acceleration that tests for g-loads, and resistance, OPPO claimed to have put it through 14 Military Standard (MIL-STD-810H-2022) tests.

The OPPO F29 Pro will be available in two colors: Granite Black, which has a dramatic, textured black surface for cool elegance, and Marble White, inspired by sunshine reflecting off pure marble to create a classy but rough design. The official listing confirms the phone’s 8GB + 128GB, 8GB + 256GB, and 12GB + 256GB variants.

According to the firm, the OPPO F29 5G will be available in two colors: Glacier Blue, which is modeled by a clear, ice blue evocative of India’s tranquil mountain scenery, and Solid Purple, which radiates regal assurance. There will be 8GB + 128GB and 8GB + 256GB variants.

Amazon.in, Flipkart, the OPPO India web shop, and physical stores will all sell the OPPO F29 series.
