The Xiaomi 15 Ultra is expected to launch soon, likely this month, with a global release on the cards. Recent rumours have pointed to the smartphone being powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, and this has now been confirmed through a Geekbench AI test.
While the prototype ran the benchmark with relatively low scores, it’s likely because the tester didn’t enable the hardware-accelerated NPU engine. Despite this, the listing in Geekbench’s online database offers a sneak peek at some key specifications. The device will feature the Adreno 830 GPU, a component exclusive to the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC. The phone was also running Android 15 and is expected to have 16GB of RAM.
As for its camera system, the Xiaomi 15 Ultra is rumoured to come with an impressive 1-inch Sony Lytia LYT-900 main camera sensor, a 200 MP Samsung ISOCELL HP9 periscope telephoto camera, a 50 MP Sony IMX858 short-range zoom camera, and a 50 MP Samsung ISOCELL JN5 ultrawide lens. The display will reportedly be a QHD+ AMOLED touchscreen with a 120Hz refresh rate, and the device will be powered by a 6,000 mAh battery with support for 90W wired and 50W wireless charging. These features make the Xiaomi 15 Ultra a highly anticipated release, combining cutting-edge performance and photography capabilities.
