Numerous speculations surround the chipset for Samsung’s Galaxy S25 series. Although it’s widely rumored that all models will feature the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, a recent Geekbench listing showed the Galaxy S25+ equipped with the Exynos 2500 processor.

Adding to the intrigue, the international version of the Galaxy S25 has now appeared on Geekbench sporting the Snapdragon 8 Elite, reigniting discussions about a potential Snapdragon-exclusive lineup for the S25 series.

The Samsung Galaxy S25’s international model, SM-S931B, was recently spotted on Geekbench. It operates on Android 15 and is equipped with 12GB of RAM. In the Geekbench benchmarks, it scored 2,986 in the single-core test and 9,355 in the multi-core test.

These scores are somewhat below those recorded by other smartphones powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip in our evaluations. However, it’s important to note that the tested device might be a prototype, with the expectation that the commercial version will show improved performance.

The Samsung Galaxy S25 series launch is anticipated to occur later this month. As the release date approaches, more details about the S25, S25+, and S25 Ultra are expected to emerge.
