In Q3 2024, Acer will offer models with AMD RyzenTM AI 300 Series laptop processors in its Swift series of thin-and-light laptops. With more CPU and GPU cores than can be found in this class of AMD-powered PCs, as well as an ultra-efficient NPU, AMD processors are poised to deliver groundbreaking speed and performance on Acer’s new AI PC lineup. As soon as Copilot+ PC experiences are available, the new models will receive a free update.

AMD Ryzen AI 300 processors with up to 12 high-performance cores and 24 threads will deliver next-level performance for ultrathin laptops, based on the new high-performance “Zen 5” architecture. With AMD RyzenTM AI, the new processors provide up to 50+ NPU TOPS of AI processing performance, enabling users to run generative AI applications, large language models, and AI assistants directly on the upcoming Acer Swift laptops by leveraging AMD XDNATM 2. By doing so, users will be able to maximize their creativity and productivity without sacrificing battery life or internet access.

The AMD Ryzen AI 300 Series processors offer lower power consumption, excellent battery life, and up to 36 MB of cache for accelerated productivity and responsiveness. In addition to high-resolution display support and accelerated encoding, AMD Radeon 800M graphics are also built-in.
